Question about symptoms

Ok.. I don't keep track of my period so i'm not exactally sure about that...But a few days ago I had sex and after I went to the bathroom. After I wiped I noticed a light reddish brown mucus. I knew it was to soon for my period, but I used a tampon anyways. The next morning I took out the tampon and noticed there was some mucus on it but not alot. Since that day (about 4 days) I've noticed that I've had extremly light brown mucus only when I wipe. Ive been very tired and irritable. My legs feel like jello and Ive noticed a loss in appetite and I feel nauseatied some of the time.. What could this be? ** Ive never had a mucus that looked like period blood that lasted for a day before it was time for my period **
