I have a son who is 6 years of age and for the past 4 months he's been doing these tics.I've consulted his Dr about it and she won't diagnose him until late spring. She told me that it is common for children to have little tics while they're small...and sometimes you won't see or hear them for a couple of weeks. My question to you is...is it common for people with tourettes to have there tics change?? or is this just a common childhood tic? and how can i help him manage with it? His teacher has approached me about this matter also...and i'm so scared that he's going to get bugged or treated differently. Please give myself and my husband some suggestions on this matter.
