Questions but no money to get an answer

I have partial temporal lobe epilespy. It has been controlloed on and off over the past seven years with several different medicines. I have tried working during this time and do have an AAS degree in earlychild education and a full time job. My doctor says that these medicines are only masking my seizures and that they have an excellent surigcal proceedured that has an almost 90% succees rate to total eliminate tempoal seizures. This proceedure involves the brain, requires months of preparation and testing. My job has a very expensive, and very ineffective ,insurance policy which I have never used. I live alone so I do not fall under the monetery guideline for Medicaid or such.I despretely want a second opinion and suggestions of resources and advice. HELP, Embarassed
