| I keep getting these rashes that feel like thousands of pins sticking into me and then i get a red (not raised) rash all over my stomach, chest, neck, arms and back. It lasts about 2 minutes and then completly goes away. I get it about 3 times a day and it really stings and iches. Do you know what it is? Can someone help me? |

I was put on Lexapro and broke in severe hives all over. The doctor thinks it is an allergic reaction to the med. |

| Hi this sounds very much like Urticiria (hives)... in fact Im fairly sure it is, sounds exactly like I used to have... its caused by some kind of allergic reaction that makes your body produce histamine. Try piriton or something similar to relieve itching, common cuases can be animal hair, washing powder, certain berries (esp. strawberrys), with me it turned out to be asprin........ see your doc, if you can persuade to get a referal to an allergy clinic they will help you illiminate... but not all doc's are that good |
