Hey,

I don't understand you well!? Was it sex for the first time? Are you talking about losing your virginity?

If so for some women it is normal to bleed after first sexual experience. First the blood is bright red, and then if the bleeding continues, it will turn dark red and trail off until it stops. Typically the bleeding stops within a few days.

In either case, a woman needs to see a health care provider for a check-up if:
bleeding is significant and heavier than the first couple of days of her period (is constant, and/or soaks through a tampon and a pad)
bleeding persists for more than a few days
there is pain that does not get better
she is worried about anything regardless (for some peace of mind)

Maybe your boyfriend did penetration with his fingers during the foreplay and he scraped your vaginal walls.

In your case you think the bleeding is in response to a sexual act, it's also quite possible that it may not be related. If the bleeding starts out as dark, rather than bright, red in color, then there may be bleeding from the cervix or higher up in the uterus.

This is not normal after first intercourse and needs to be looked at by a doctor or better then that an urologist or gynecologist immediately.

My first time past away w/o bleeding. I would check it with a doc. Don't be ashamed because of this. Doctors are confronted with such cases daily. Maybe your vagina wall is scraped, like Dronet said before, and you said you feel the pain, right?

If I was you, I wouldn't hesitate! Visit your doc, girl!

My sister had bleeding almost 5 days after first intercourse. She told me about that and I was also concerned, so she went to her gyno. Her GYNO wasn't surprised about it but he gave her some pills and bleeding has stopped a day after. Obviously she had leakage of thrombocytes in her blood and as I know thrombocytes serve along with coagulation agents in coagulation of the blood and in controlling the bleeding.

So the best way is to check it with your gyno to make sure that nothing serious happened during the first intercourse.

PostPosted: 08/01/06 - 23:05    Post subject: Heavy Bleeding during being fingered and having sex Vote now! Reply with quote

i was with my boyfriend last night who we've had sex a few times before..like 3 or 4 times and has fingered me plenty of times within the past year..and i have never bled..

but yesturday he started to finger me and then he put his penis in for a few minutes n we were just starting to have sex when i heard a noise upstairs figuring my parents had just came home so we had to stop

i felt my underwear were pretty wet(i left my underwear on with my skirt during all this) so i went in the bathroom to see my underwear were covered in bright red blood n there was some on my skirt i was thinking i must have had got my period early bc i had it for about 4 days starting on the 8th of july and it was only the 31th of july (considering my cycle has been messed up for the past year that ive got it bc i had a hormone imbalance and had taken hormone medication bc i wasnt getting my period about a year ago when i was almost 17)

but there we no signs that i was getting my period this early..i had gone to the bathroom a little while before we started and there was no pink or a little bit of blood and signs that i would be getting anything soon but now it just kept bleeding so i figured it must have been due to come soon so having been insertered and stuff it just made a lot of blood come out

so i put on a pad n changed my underwear n went back to my boyfriend who had blood on his fingers and on his pants n boxers(cuz he left his clothes on too) i was mortified that i had just bled all over him n he was kinda grossed out so he went in the bathroom to clean himself up.. i apoligized that i didnt know i would b getting my period this early n he understood n it was ok..

then next morning i was bleeding some more then by the afternoon it stopped n now its late at night n it seems compelety done..

so i dont think that it was a 1 day early mestrual cycle?
my boyfriend thinks it was my hymen breaking...but ive never heard of having your hymen break and having it bleed that much all over the place???

so can someone please help me???? what up with this??

thanks for reading the whole story, i gave it alot of detail so there wouldnt be any confusion or questions.[/b]

PostPosted: 04/04/07 - 05:47    Post subject: bleedin during and after having sex !!? Vote now! Reply with quote

hi im 18.
and today is the first time that mi and my boyfriend are having sex. for the past haf yrs, he was just only fingering me. so we decided to have sex today.

when his was fingerin me today, there was no sign of any blood, however when he started to insert him penis into my vargina, it hurts alot and i stopped him from inserting his penis. therefore he had only his penis playin with my vargina.

however when we started i to washup, i realized that my vargina was bleeding and it stained on the bedsheet. at first i thought that it was my menses as im should be having my menses between these few days. however, after a bath, my vargina stopped bleedin and hence i realize that im not having my menses.

was my vargina been infected !!?
izzit normal to bleed for the first intercourse ?

can anyone help and explain to me
im very confused, scared and worried.

It is perfectly normal to bleed after first having sex. I, personally, did not bleed until the fifth or sixth time I had sex. I am sure it was just your hymen breaking.
