I stopped smoking about 1 year ago (10 a-day), but now, every second week or so I develop 'chest-infection' like symptoms - raw chest, fever, feeling ill, which last for about a week and then dissappear without producing any catarrh. I have had this every other week for a year and it is very debilitating. Any advice would be most welcome?
I would go see an allergy doctor and get tested, for allergys.
Do you live in a dry climate? Do you have pets?
i would invest in a high quality air purfier.
Do you have a normal sleep schedule?
You may have bronchitous, do you smoke cigarettes?
Anyways i had a few eppisodes like that in the fall but i am allegeric to mold which multiplies in the fall and also sleep in a room with mold on a wall its pretty sick.
How long had you been smoking before you quit?
You might want to also consider your stress levels at those times if their elevated.
Could it be panic attacks too?
Oh yeah it makes it easier to if you quit counting well at least with the panic.
One day at a time.
