Recovery from Borderline Personality Disorder

My friend has a daughter with Borderline Personality Disorder. She is 18 years old and she is on therapy. It seems that she is getting better. Everybody hope that she will be ok soon. Please, can somebody tell me something more about recovery from Borderline Personality Disorder? Is it possible? Thanks!
