Recticile surgery and analplasty

Hi;
I had this surgery 1 year ago and am still haveing problems from it.
The reason for the surgery was that my rectum was falling through my vaginal cavity. I went to the URO/GYN clinic 1st and they told me of the problem ( I thought it was my bladder). I also had an appointment with the proctologist the next week and they told me the same thing. Both doctord wanred to do the surgery. I believe I chose the wrong one (proctologist). It was hell !!! The pain was so bad and seem that it would never heal. I am right back where I was before the surgery. I started going to a nurse at the clinic of URO/GYN and she has helped me so much ( since Procto. said they could help no longer). If anyyone out there has to have their rectum reepaired I strongly suggest you go through the viginal area and not the rectum. Crying or Very sad

I also have a problem with my rectum falling through my vaginal cavitiy, However i was told by the doctor that my condition was not bad enough for surgery, Can any one tell my how bad does it have to be/
