Recurrent strep infections after tonsilectomy

Can anyone help?? I am a 45 year old healthy female until three years ago. I have developed recurrent strep infections and last year had post streptococcal reactive arthritis. My tonsils have been gone for 20 + years. I was scoped last year to assure no secondary tonsil tissue. My children are negative, my dog has been treated prophalactically. My labs test completely normal regardless of my infectous status. Last year alone I was on antibiotics for 30 + weeks

I have been told it is a "run of bad luck" and to try alternative medicine. I have consulted a nutritionalist and an acupuncurist.

Any suggestions are welcome
