Red freckle-like dots after drinking

I find that sometimes after drinking (usually when I drink a bit more than I should) my face will break out all over in tiny red dots the morning after. They aren't raised or swollen and they don't hurt. It usually takes 2-3 days for them to fade completely. I'm wondering if I have an allergy I'm not aware of. The obvious solution is to drink less, I know. But still....curiosity. Thanks!
