Recently some red spots occurred on my face. I thought that they are pimples at first, but I am sure now they aren’t. I doubt that is allergy, because as far as I know I am not allergic on anything. Maybe rosaceous, I’ve heard about it but I am not sure how it looks??? What are the red spots on my face skin? How do they go away?

I have suffered from rosacea. I also had red spots on my face skin and I ask around how to make them go away. So, I have had two light treatments and am very happy with the outcome. I have discontinued my rosacea "gel" and little by little my dark pigmented areas on my face are fading, but I had one "red spot" on my face which really bothered me. This is after only two treatments and I am scheduled to have five total. The cost is quite expensive, more then $200.

Try Calamine lotion (about $4 at Wal-Mart) before you go to the doctor. My son has some red spots that looked like pimples on his face, but he's only 8 and a bunch of them just showed up in a matter of two days. I tried to take him to the doctor, but couldn't get in.
So, I got him some Calamine lotion and it started clearing them up right away. I had tried Caladryl, but that didn't work. Someone else also suggested Benadryl lotion.
I have no idea what these spots are, but they are clearing up with the lotion. Sometimes they are caused by poison oak, ivy, or sumac, but as far as my son goes, he didn't go anywhere that he could have gotten those, just back an forth to school as usual.
Good luck. |

she said she doesn't think it's allergic so how would calamine lotion or benadryl help her?
I have tha same thing from the description... I tried acne meds since I thought they were pimples at first but it made it worse. I then went to the doctor who gave me an antibiotic ointment which made it better but they keep coming back. I am currently on prednisone which may cause these so she's taking me off of the meds to see if I'll still have them.
Are you taking any kinds of drugs? It may be a side effect?
If not there's also a possibility of autoimmune or there may be something wron with your nerves as in my case. I don't mean to freak you out or anything but you should see a doctor. It's always better ^^ Even if you don't have insurance it's better to pay $60 go to a Walk-In clinic and get something that may actually help you without making it worse! |
