Reddish Brown Vaginal Discharge

Well...heres the story.

Im actually rather confused. My boyfriend and i had sex for almost 5 days straight..meaning everynight. Well one night we were exceptionally rough and for 2 days after that i was completely sore..To the point where we couldnt have sex. Well the day after the "rough" happened i had noticed a reddish brown discharge in my underwear, and there was enough of it. For two days now it has been like this. Im unsure whether it was because of the rough sex causing bleeding or what. Ive missed my last depo provera shot and show no signs of pregnancy whatsoever. I its been at least 1 week since i should have went and gotten my shot. There are no cramps or anything!! AM I OKay!!!

I am sure you are Ok. The bleeding you experienced could be because of rough sex but it could also be due to missed shot. Hormones often play tricky on us, causing all sorts of strange symptoms especially with bleedings.

I had problems with pills before because I would always bleed when I would forget to take them and I had problems when I started taking them and when I stopped taking them. They really messed me up. I don’t think that shots are any different.

The vaginal dryness is one of the most common symptoms of menopause. I am not saying that you are becoming menopausal, I am just trying to say that there could be less amounts of estrogen than your body got used to now when you haven’t taken the shot and this could have resulted in vaginal dryness and soreness. When there is no lubrication, intercourse is often impossible.
