Help! I have today discovered a reddis lump on my scrotum It does not hurt. It is about the size of a pea. I tried to squezze it and nothing happened. Please tell me what is wrong! I have not experienced any sexual activity in my life.
It is probably just an ingrown hair or maybe a sebaceous cyst. Most sebaceous cysts resemble pimples with white stuff inside but not necessarily.
The bump is nothing to worry about, I have had these a number of times, it could even be an ordinary pimple.
If it is a cyst, it is there to stay without any harm done and if it is a pimple or an ingrown hair, it will disappear eventually.
I sometimes apply warm clots on the bumps to try to bring the inflammation to the surface or apply corticosteroid cream to get rid of them. It takes a while to do so.
