I have been active in sports for 15 years now. I am 35 years old and due to work obligations haven't been able to stay physically active for quite some time. I recently reorganized my daily obligations so I could squeeze in some hard exercises. But, last couple of times I felt chest pain and some tickling in left arm. Also, My breath is very shortened, and I tire easily. I am afraid that Referral to Cardiologist awaits me in a near future. What do you think?

Unfortunately, you are right. Referral to Cardiologist must be primary thing on your mind. And of course, I strongly recommend that you stop your exercises until you determine the cause of your pain. Symptoms you mentioned suggest that you are dealing with angina pectoris. With proper therapy including nitro glycerin and beta blockaders you can return to light exercises, but only if your doctor approves of it.
