Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy Signs

Hi, I need to know if symptoms of severe burning pain and tissue swelling are necessarily sign of Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy Syndrome? Could it be sign of some other disorder?

There are many diseases characterized by the symptoms you have described, actually all the rheumatoid diseases are associated with pain. Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy Syndrome (RSD) is also referred to as Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS). RSD is a chronic neurological syndrome expressed with: severe burning pain, bone and skin changes, excessive sweating, tissue swelling and sensitivity to touch and movement. In type 1 of this disease the nerve injury cannot be immediately identified and in type 2, there is an injury of distinct "major" nerve.
