Relationship between espastic colon syndrome and strong nausea early in the morning

I was recently diagnosed with Spastic Colon Syndrome and I have been feeling strong nausea early in the morning.
I've been treated with medicines for the disease since 5 days ago.
Interestingly the nausea has happened before any food intake.
I'd like to learn more about these symtoms.
Are they common? What's the relationship with the disease?
Do you suggested any site for surching more informations?
