The most important fact about Neurotin is that you take it exactly as directed by your doctor. To effectively control your seizures it is very important that you take Neurotin 3 times a day. The best is approximately every 8 hours. You shouldn’t go longer then 12 hours without dose of Neurotin. Also is important there is no increasing or decreasing dosage of this medication without doctor’s approval. Don’t suddenly stop taking it that could cause an increase in the frequency of your seizures. You may take Neuontin with or without food. Side effects cannot be anticipated with Nerontin. In any develop or change in intensity you should inform your doctor as soon as it is possible. Combining this medicine with morphine makes drowsiness more likely.
