I have read an article about medication named remicade and its usage in treatment of crohns disease. I actually didnt know that remicade was the first drug that could cure crohns disease. How does it work and do you have any experience with this drug? Im not just being curious but have very serious reason to ask about remicade. Thanks in advance.
Remicade was approved by fda less than 10 years ago. A friend of mine had crohns disease so I have little information about the therapy of this disease. This med reduces inflammation of intestine. It has shown to be more effective than combination of antibiotics, corticosteroids and immunomodulators that make conventional therapy.
