Removal options for ureteroscopic stone?

Hello! I have ureteroscopic stone. My doctor told me that I will need to remove it. Regarding the fact that I do not know anything about removal method for this kind of stone, I am hoping that you will know more then me and that you will explain me what they will do to me. To be honest, I am a little bit afraid. Thanks!

Hello! You should not be afraid of this at all. You will choose which anesthesia you want: general or local. After you choose it and get it, surgeon will start operation. Surgeon will use small ureteroscope and with it he will, through your bladder access to your ureter and there he will snare the stone. That’s it!
