Posted: 01/31/07 - 06:10 Post subject: Removing a Large Facial Cyst Caused by Topical Acne |
|
|
Hey,
A large facial cyst roughly the size of a pea appeared on my face between my forehead and cheek about 2 and a half weeks ago. It is in the exact spot that contained a sebum filled topical acne cyst before that that is trying to get out, so has flared up. It is not painful (to me at least). I have tried blue light treatment (electric needles) to pop it but it is too far under the skin. My question is, how do I get this removed quickly and without scars? I am 20 years old. The options I have found are cortisone injections, blue light treatment, surgery, vitamin A treatment, which one should I use?
Thanks and all the best. |

| I have the same problem... I'm 20 years old as well, glad to see that I'm not the only one that suffers through it. I get them everywhere, I've had one on my chest a couple of times, and all over my neck just recently... I wish how I knew how they are caused, because on my neck it's so painful I can't bare with it. I have not seen any treatment so I don't know what to tell you with that, but otherwise to get them removed I just go to the doctor and have it removed.... |
