Renal toxicity of fludarabine

My husband suffers from adenocarcinoma of the pancreas. He is fighting his battle with life for some time now. But doctors, instead of helping, are managing to make him even sicker. He was taking fludarabine as a therapy and now he has got renal toxicity caused by fludarabine. Is that possible?

Yes it is possible. It is some of the side effects that may occur while taking fludarabine. My father had the same problem like your husband. It is also age related. Older persons are in greater danger. Urinary infections are also possible to occur. But you should not blame doctors, those things are just happening and can not be predicted.
