Reoccurring red bump on lower stomach lymph node area

Hi. My boyfriend is 22 recently he has showed me a about inch rectangle shaped red bump on his lower stomach lymph node area. He has had this bump once before a few years ago and it just went away but now that its back i'm very worried. It doesnt hurt all of the time just when he bumps it. Do you have any idea what this could be? Thank you so much,

If it hurts when he bumps it and considering there is only one, then it is quite possible that is it a pimple. A pimple can grow to be very big if it gets inflamed or if there’s an ingrown hair. It may not be an ordinary pimple but some kind of infected skin elevations.
He probably shouldn’t be squeezing and bumping it, and if it is so persistent, he should see a dermatologist or a surgeon to try to get rid of the bump.
He may get some antibiotics to take and apply on the skin or the bump may be excised by the surgeon. When these things are so persistent, they are better left for professionals to deal with them, so you wouldn’t cause scarring or an infection and make things worse.
