Repeated swollen painful glands in neck and back

Hi,

Over the last 6 months Ive had repeated attacks of swollen painful glands in my neck and back. This time is really hurts in the right side of my neck and back. I usually get a high temp when it first flares up and im feeling very tired. I had a blood test when I first had symptoms but it was clear. I dont want to bother my doctor but am worried this keep happening. Any ideas what could be causing this??
