Hello, folks. My friend has a implanted lens. He has been wearing it for a while. Now, he will have to replace it. I would like to know something more about the procedure and help him with some info. I would appreciate this very much. Your help is more than welcomed. Thank you in advance.

Hello to you too. My friend did something similar. He replaced his natural lens, not implanted one. This procedure is known as clear lens replacement or CLR. CLR removes a natural lens and replaces it with intraocular lens implant. It is quite similar to cataract operation. However, this procedure is done before cataract changes happen. Eye procedures have evolved in general for last decade. I guess your friend would go under similar procedure. In any case, he should consult with an ophthalmologist. Bye!
