Hi, was suppose to have my surgery on next Wednesday, and I prepared for that. I counted days and barely found some courage. However, yesterday they phoned me and said that they had to reschedule it. I was so angry, I can’t describe you. I just wanted it to be over, not to think about it any more, but they extended my nightmare. What should I do about that?

Well, those things happen. You can’t do anything about it if your surgery isn’t an emergency. However, if it is, you could complain to someone on higher position and ask him/her not to reschedule it. But if it doesn’t work, you’ll probably have to wait a little longer and except that it’s rescheduled. Don’t be scared, people have surgeries every day. I had five of them myself, and nothing ever went wrong. When I waited to hernia repair, the same thing happened to me. They Rescheduled my surgery, and I had to wait a little longer, but it didn’t matter that much to me.
