Oops! I neglected to refill my Zoloft Rx, 50 mg daily, and have been off it cold turkey for a week. I have been experiencing the typical withdrawal symptoms (lightheadedness, dizziness), though not severe nor debillitating. Finally received my Rx refill. Can I resume immediately to 50 mg or must I gradually dose up again as when initially prescribed?
I'm a healthy 49 yr old woman taking Zoloft for perimenopausal symptoms with very good results.
