Hi,

I have a swollen (right) testicle. I'm not at all sure what caused it -- it was fine last night when I went to bed around midnight and the pain/swelling woke me up around 6 am. This happened to me a couple of years ago, again for no reason, and the swelling went down and the pain went away by itself after a couple of hours.

Any ideas on the cause, or what to do to speed recovery? The only thing I can think of is that I was masturbating from about 8:30-9 before I went to bed -- but that was hours before this swelling started. And the last time this happened, I wasn't masturbating in the immediate past at all.

I'm seeing my doctor tomorrow on a completely unrelated issue, but I guess if it persists I will ask him?

The same thing happened to me. When i went to bed my testicles felt like someone was pulling on them and when i woke up the next morning they were red raw. The redness has gone down a bit but they are still red but now there is a swollen line going down the center of penis.

I've seen my doctor four times but he said it looks like nothing serious on all four times but there is sometimes discomfort in the left testicle.

I can still erect, ejaculate, and urinate properly and there are no lumps.

So whats wrong?
