My son has adhd. He is only ten years old. I have been against giving him medications of any kind but I have realized that it is necessary. I have been to two doctors and I got two different opinions. One thinks that he should take Ritalin and the other thinks that Concerta is best medication. What do you think which is better for children?

I am not an expert so I cant give you specific answer but I can share my experience and advice with you. My child had taken Ritalin 30 mg daily in two doses and he had done it for a four month. He has complained on headaches after two months and it has taken a while until we have realized that it could be because of medicine. Then he has started to take Concerta and the headaches have gone.
