Rofecoxib and naproxen sodium

My mother has been dealing with rheumatoid arthritis for two years now and I have to say that she really did not have much help with medications. Until she started using naproxen sodium. Now the pain is controlled and only problem is occasional morning stiffness. Anyway, her friend mentioned she might try with Rofexocib. What kind of drug is that?

I dont think that she should think of any other therapy but her present one. This is even more because of the fact that her treatment is successful, so why change anything. And I have to add, I have heard that this drug, Rofexocib had been withdrawn from selling in US three years ago, in 2004. I assume it is because of the side effects.
