What kind of vaccine is the rubella vaccine? Is it enough to get just MMR vaccine?
My baby is 11 months old. Is it too early for him to get vaccine? It seems that other moms give their neither kids nor MMR.

The rubella vaccine is a live weakened virus. You can give him in single preparation; it is recommended that in most cases rubella vaccine be given as part of the MMR vaccine. You have little more time; I think that the first dose of MMR should be given on or after the first birthday. The recommended age range is from 12-15 months. A dose given before 12 months of age may not be counted, but consult your doctor just in case.
