Off and on for about 2 weeks I have been experiencing rumbling in my ovaries. It's similar to menstrual cramps, but there's no pain. Occassionally I get a little nauseated and sweaty. I can't find any explanation or any other reasons for these symptoms except that I might be pregnant.

I am 22 and I have been on birth control pills for 4 months. I don't always take them at the same time, but my boyfriend and I always using a condom. Last week there was penetration but he did not come inside me. I think I felt these rumblings before last Saturday though. I've recently been seeing my gynecologist about pain during intercourse. She has tested me for STDs and I've had an ultrasound to make sure I don't have ovarian cysts. I haven't been able to discuss with her these current symptoms. I'm scared and I can't concentrate. I still have a week left of pills until I can expect my period.

Why would I be having rumbling/cramping in my lower abdomen like this? I took a home pregnancy test (probably too early) but it came back negative. Can i stop taking my pills now to see if my period comes? Is there a chance an egg has been fertilized and is trying to attach itself to the uterin lining? What are my options with the pill? Is there a way that stopping the pill or continuing to take it can effect the outcome?

Please help. I can't concentrate and do not want to be pregnant.
