| My father has been Running marathons for 2 decades, and I'm thinking of doing the same. Since he quit because of the injury, he's not very thrilled to talk about training for that course, and, to be honest, training methods surely changed a lot in these past 20 years. So, I need some advice on running marathons. How to start? Should I join some club or not? |

| Running marathons are not an easy task. If you haven't tried it before, than you're putting yourself onto road whose end is far, far away. You have to start with short distances, and slowly, but steadily increase them. First serious level would be finishing 5k race. You should concentrate on that for now. You'll know what to do next when you accomplish that. And talk to your Dad, he could be the best help you could get. |
