El Discharge

| I am 14, I have problems with very slimy discharge. I have had this problem since I was 13. I will be going to the bathroom and stand up to wipe and my discharge will run down my leg. It is very disgusting/disturbing. Also, it very often soaks through my underwear. Many times after being active I have to go to the bathroom, wipe out my vaginal area, and then wipe out my underwear. Someone please tell me what to do?!?!? PS.....I dont have my period yet! |

| HI, can you talk to your mum about this, im sure she would be understanding, or a female relative, or a school councellor, if you are worried about this it is better to talk to someone, even though you might be very embarrassed. could you take your self along to the doctor, maybe find a female doctor. All women have discharges, this is normal, although yours sounds a little heavier than normal, could it be urine? a lot of women/girls when they cough , laugh or get excited, or are very active can lose urine, pelvic floor excercises help this. Do you also know what thrush is ? this is a smelly discharge, but you would also be feeling some discomfort as well, like a little burning, their are creams for this, or an old fashion remedy is to get a tampon . soak it in yoghurt (the white , non flavoured one, with cultures) and insert the tampon, changin frequantly, let me know how you go, and l totally understand that you are feeling quite embarrassed to talk to someone, but it might be best to. |
