Hi, my wife is 36 years old and she had c-section several days ago. She born healthy girl but during operation her bowel was ruptured. When doctor told me that I was shocked and I almost passed out. I would like to know what complications may develop form such injury.Thank you.
Hi, I also had rupture of small bowel during my c-section. Whole which is made in her bowel will be stitched and she will get strong doses of antibiotics to prevent possible infection. However your wife will have to stay few more days in hospital under doctor's supervision until they became sure that danger has passed.
