Is it possible that I am allergic on antibiotics? I think I am or I am experiencing some side effects of it. I am prescribed on antibiotics treatment for the flu I have, but only three days after I started with therapy stomach cramps started and diarrhea. So, I just can’t tell is it from the flu or a drug. What are the side effects of antibiotics?
The common SIDE EFFECTS OF ANTIBIOTICS include: stomach upset and diarrhea that I’ve been experiencing. Please, if it gets severe notify your doctor. I don’t think that is an allergic reaction. Signs of allergic reactions are: shortness of breath, hives, swelling of your lips, face, or tongue, fainting. Some people are allergic to certain types of antibiotics, commonly it is penicillin.
