HI IM A 20 YR OLD FEMALE AND HAVE BEEN HAVING SEX FOR ABOUT THREE YEARS NOW AND EVERYTIME MY BOYFRIEND AND I HAVE SEX THE NEXT DAY I HAVE AN ODOR DOWN IN MY VAGINAL AREA!! I'VE HEARD THAT THIS IS NORMAL BUT I JUST WANTED TO KNOW FROM I GUESS A SPECIALIST IN THIS SORT OF STUFF!!!

Girl..... use to have the same problem. my boyfriend sperm was causing the problem....every time he would leave a deposit in me, the next day i would smell so bad and it would not go away untill i got meds from my Gyn.
I was told that the could be disturbing the normal flora in my vagina.
I stop letting him make deposit (Smile) and the problem stopped.
Remember...your vagina has normal bacteria that does a great job of keeping every thing in order down there. Once that area is disturbed by Soaps, Douching, Intercoarse, Sperm......etc, you would get a yeast infection or vaginitis.

I hope she was using protection....
Certainly if the problem was sperm or semen, the use of a condom to contain it would have eliminated that problem, right?
