Hi, I am 56 years old and I am suffering from chronic pain in my knee since I was young. I have injured my knee at football match and until then I feel the pain. My doctor prescribed me Indocin but I know it may cause some side effects. I would like to know what safe doses of Indocin for chronic pain are.

Hi, Indocin may cause ulcer or internal bleeding in stomach so you have to be careful with it. Indocin may be found in tablets of 10mg and 20mg. For long term use you shouldnt take more than 2 times 10 mg tablets. However it would be good to consult your doctor.Good luck!
