Scared of Prednisone

Hi. I have arthritis and am on Prednisone. Whenever I take my pill I feel dizzy and my joints are still in the pain. A doctor told me that my condition will improve during the therapy but so far nothing. I`m scared of taking any more Prednisone. What to do?

Hi. I was taking Prednisone (severe psoriasis) and was scared of those pills too. What you feel are side effects of Prednisone. Feeling dizzy, weak, or tired, those are less serious side effects of Prednisone. I had an allergic reaction, and that is far more serious. Are you taking any other pills? You musn`t take any other over-the-counter meds while on Prednisone without consulting your doc.
