Scared of Pregnancy after stopping birth control and having

I was on birth control for about 6 months when I decided to stop using it. After ending birth control, I had sex with a condom twice (with no apparent problem in the condom use). I got my period right after ending BC, but the most recent period is about 2 weeks late. I'm scared that I might be pregnant. Could my lack of period be a result of stopping birth control? Or could it be a result of something else? My period was fairly regular before, but I'm also an athlete (heavy exercise) and weigh in at 98 pounds and 5'2. Could that be to blame? Is it too late to take a HPT?
