I am 22 years old and I am having my first child. I am 2 months pregnant. Yesterday I was rushed to the hospital because I was having severe bleeding and huge blood clots. I really thought I had midcarried my child. I had an ultrasound and my baby was still living and had a heart beat. I didn't know what to do. I didn't think this was normal. I didn't have any cramps or no back pain at all I just started bleeding. Has this ever happened to anyone. I just know it was thw most scariest moment ever. If anyone has some advice it would be helpful...

It happens to more women than people know. A lot of women experience bleeding (red is bad, brown is old). Bleeding accompanied by cramping is a sign of miscarriage. They probably put you on bedrest however, because there are some causes of the bleeding that would require it. Some women even experience bleeding that seems like periods around the time they would have had periods during their pregnancy.

Keep in contact with your doctor, take care of yourself, and rest as much as possible.
