Schema therapy for Borderline Personality Disorder

My younger sister has problems with her health. Well, I should better say it is more her behavior in problem. She has been diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder and I guess that that is not something that can be dealt with easily. Anyways, she has already bee to several session of schema therapy and I would just like to know how that treatment works. Thanks.

Well, this type of therapy is based on more or less direct approach to the matter. Actually, deeper emotions are analyzed and also, the way that the patient sees and categorizes all around him/her (schema). Also, the treatment focuses on a link with a therapist (limited re-parenting process). And don’t worry, if this does not work, there are many other therapies that can help her.
