I am suffering from sciatica. The pain radiates from the back down to my left leg. I’ve been told that sciatica is because by pressured sciatic nerve witch runs down into the leg. It is somewhere in my lumbar area. What ca I do about sciatica? What other people does?

I am suffering from sciatic too. I’ve been told to rest a lot, to have hot baths. It is in my lower part of the back so I am using heat retainer there. They told me that I do not need a surgery. I am planning soon to try with electric stimulation. I’ve heard that athletes are using that. When the pain is sever I am on Ibuprofen, but you should consult your doctor about the treatment.
