| I've had a rash on my scotum for quite a while now, and it doesn't seem like it's going away anytime soon. At first, I thought leaving it alone would suffice, but that doesn't seem to be helping. I've never had sex before, so it couldn't be an STD strictly sexually transmittable. I have no piercings or tatoos either. It's not spreading, but it's rather uncomfortable at times, usually when I sweat. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. |

It is probably from the sweat or some sort of fungal infection. Fungus just loves sweat, warm and moist environment like scrotal area is. Fungus, most commonly, jock itch causes redness and rashes and similar irritation and if this is your case you would need an antifungal cream to get rid of that excessive fungus from your skin.
I would suggest seeing a dermatologist or an urologist and making sure it is fungus. It could also be a skin disorder like eczema, psoriasis or dermatitis as they can be prevalent around scrotums as well. They may need different treatment from fungal infections, so I wouldn’t recommend getting anything on your own but seeking a prescription from a doc to get rid of the rash. |
