I am 43 years old and I am suffering from winter depression, so called Seasonal affective disorder (SAD). I have tried many different treatments for SAD, including light therapies, ionized-air reception and medication. I have been taken Paxil for a long time but it seems that it does not help me. Do you have any suggestion what should I do?

People with condition similar to yours and experience depression during waning daylight hours may find relief in a medication intended to prevent this potentially debilitating condition. Wellbutrin is the first medicine approved to prevent SAD. However, many other antidepressants are used to treat or prevent SAD, so you should advice your doctor about it.
