please help me!
i have what i believe to be a sebaceous cyst on the shaft of my penis, facing up, and i do not know how it got there, or how to remove it without going to the doctor. It has been on there for about 5 months (give or take). I have tried to remove it myself but it only seems to be making it worse. To add to the problems, when i now masturbate, it feels like i am about to ejaculate, but nothing happens. Afterwards, i have what feels like "blue balls".. with severe stomach aches..
Whoever knows what is going on here, PLEASE help me!. I am very worried about this.

id say not to try popping it.. i have had 2 so far, and popping the first one just made it come back. so i had it removed by a doctor, now i have another one in a different location.
from what ive been told, these can be hereditary and passed down from a parent or relative, and cannot be COMPLETELY removed by popping them and draining the insides, this just prones you to infection and a more serious problem.
my advice: Dont self-medicate.. you will most likely regret it.
(ive also heard of using a heat pad for 10 mins [directly on the SEBACEOUS cist] 2 times a day for as long as it takes until the insides can drain back into the body and be removed naturally) |

I currently have a cyst on the shaft of my penis too, approx 8mm in diameter, isn't sore but I do get annoyed with it being there and sometimes puts me off sex cause it's not exactly what somebody wants to see.
I visited my doctor, but he just said it's normal and poses no danger at all and hence no point in it having removed, I disagreed but he didn't seem bothered so I'm considering getting a sterile needle/syringe popping the cyst myself and draining the fluid from it, just not totally sure if it's a safe procedure in doing this and didn't want to risk infection in a sensitive area! Even though i do want to get rid of it. |

| i found one of the so called sebaceous cysts on my penis and i actually did a research on them on internet to really get to know what it is and the cures. I saw this article in Wiki explaining how keeping hot water swabs on the cyst liquifies the solid sebum inside the cyst and then the body absorbs it .I followed it word by word-Stopped Masturbation ,Isolated the cyst by dressing it with cotton and pressed hot watered cottons everyday ..Thank god, it disappeared in about a month . |

| well u guys are luck i had two bumps same time ...when i discovered them i popped the grose looking one (shot blood and shet) and it heal but the other one ....i couldnt pop so today i took a needle bit my lip and ripped a little bit of skin and messed with it a bit and they thing was slightly white...im not sure if i should continue ripping at my skin to make enough space to cut it out or if i should let it heal and see if i might have to start the painfull process again its starting to freak me out plz respond to this thread btw im 15 if that helps nething... |

I have several small ones and I've had a big one (infected)
I also removed it by hand (aka not going to the doctor)...
The way I did it was with a disinfected needle and a some tweezers.
I had to dig all the way through the infection till I found the small hair that was causing it. Then I removed it 
And now it's good
I've done it more than 4 months ago |

I've had 3 or four in the past couple years. First one I went to the doctor and he made a small incision and squeezed out the puss. He assured me it was NOT an STD.
After seeing how he did it the first time, I removed one that showed up a few months later. I used an Exacto knife ,"it's like a scalpul" that I sterilized using isopropol alcohol. I also preped the area using iodine and made a small incision and squeezed out the puss. It didn't go away so I repeated the procedure a couple weeks later and it went away permenantly. "no more fluid refilling the cyst."
Now It's been a half year and I have another one! Time to do some surgery I guess :/
Each one has been on the underside of my shaft and no larger than half the size of a pea. They're annoyingly painful if you don't remove them. |

Alright well I am 14 and i have about 3 lumps on the middle underside to right end of the shaft. They are about half a centimeter in diameter and stick out like a pimple. They are white. I tried to pop them but nothing came out. I am a virgin so no STD. But I do masterbate but not that much and I think it could either be 2-3 things. It could be a cyst. I remember reading something where you can get lumps from seamen absording into your penis so it could be this. Or warts which I dont think because Im a virgin.
As any other 14 year old with these problems, I dont want to tell my parents at all. I would just like to know if there are any creams or anything out there because I just want it to go away because it could potnentially scare off a girl. |

| Hey all, I was in the shower one day and noticed a small bump on my penis. I didn't know what it was and thought it would go away. After a couple days I realized it was in fact worse. In my research discovered it was a cyst, I was almost in tears because my brother had a cyst on his butt and had to have surgery and the aftermath was a huge "crater" which was disgusting. I feared I would have surgery and this would screw up my penis and I would become "sterile". Since I have a girlfriend this sucks. So after much debate I decided to do it myself, and have not regretted it. I will post my results soon on what I did if it works, but so far it seemed to work. Ok, hang in there guys, it definately sucks, but hopefully this will work and you will be good in no time. |

Ok I said I would reply. This worked for me but just left a little hard bump there, very small, I just think it is the incision almost healed. Anyways, this is what I did.
1. I got Ice, Razor (scalpul, anything) sharp will work, antibiotic ointment, bandaids, and gause (paper towel will work), and peroxide or alcohol
2. I iced up the cyst so it was numb, cuz after all you are cutting your area
3. When it was numb I cut off the top of the cyst, so I could squeeze the puss and shit out. Squeeze blood out too, just in case
4. When I was done with that I put some Peroxide on it (alcohol will be better)
5. Put Triple Antibiotic ointment on it, and put a bandaid on it, THIS IS IMPORTANT SO IT WILL NOT GET INFECTED!!!*
* Make sure you change the bandaid at least twice a day for the first to days, and when showering rub it with antibacterial soap, to kill bacteria and germs
