hi im 16 years old i think i have Sebaceous Prominence because i have seen pics ofit and it looks pretty much the same as wat i got but i got it on the head of my dick aswell, like loads! WTF do i say 2 my girl friend when we get 2 that stage which is soon!!! im pretty desperate. Ive been thinking about makin appointments at the docters but i just get this gut fealing weneva i do and a chiken out. i think ive ad it for about 2 years. Am i stuck like this for ever? how did i catch it? can i get some cream or anything to make it less noticable?
You don’t catch these thing, they just appear and I think you have already read that they represent a normal variant of a penis. There is nothing you can do to make them go away.
You said you have them on glans (the head) as well. Do they look like small zits and are situated on the border of the head? I don’t think these are Sebaceous Prominence but Pearly Penile Papules. They are also considered normal-nothing you can do about except accept them.
Sebaceous Prominence is usually on the shaft of the penis.
As for your girlfriend, ….well, what is she like? Understandable or……? In case she may freak out, although she shouldn’t ( but one never knows ), I reckon you should prepear her for the meeting. Don’t just pop in front of her like that. Or, maybe you should. I don’t know.
I know these are normal, so I can’t imagine how other people especially girls would react.
