Hi, Mds is Myelodysplastic Syndromes. Actually, it is a group of diseases, quite unusual diseases that affect the bone marrow and the blood. It is very rare disease, and symptoms can include exaggerated fatigue, shortness of breath, pale skin, or weakness. Loss of appetite is also seen. Treatments vary a lot depending on the stage of the disease. Treatment include growth factors, which stimulate bone marrow to increase it’s blood cell production. Usually, also chemotherapy is advised, although it has many side effects.
