Sensory Peripheral Neuropathy

I am being treated for Sensory Peripheral Neuropathy. It began with numbness in my toes, then progressed to my legs (left then right) and now in my left arm. I have shooting pains in both legs and my left arm that are increasing in frequency. Walking at length is problematic. I don't fear the future but I do like to plan for it. What level of physical disability might I expect in the future?

MY MOM HAD IT. IT HURTS BAD UNTIL THE NERVES GO NUMB EVENTUALLY. I'M PLANNING TO TRY OUT R-LIPOIC ACID IF I GET IT. CHECK IT OUT.
