I have stage 3b cervical cancer. I am 38years old. I received initial chemo-radiation treatments and removed by TPE. However, it has meta-sized into my lungs. I spoke with my oncologist. He suggested taxol/carbo treatment. Is there any other option? I am wondering if anyone else has had success with this regiment.

I’ve been diagnosed with stage 1b cervical cancer. I had a radical hysterectomy, followed by daily radiation. I had Cisplatin treatments for 4 weeks too. In next four years I was without cancer. Then the cancer was found in my upper lung. I’ve been told that my cervical cancer didn’t spread. I had surgery and chemo after, and then went through chemotherapy with taxol and carboplatin. I think it's a very common treatment. I survived.
