Severe pains in pregnancy due to hydronephrosis?

Hello! I am pregnant and I have severe pains. These pains are right sided and they are constant for few days. I have gone to my gynecologist and he done some test and told me that he does not know why I have these pains, but he noticed that I have hydronephrosis. So, can you tell me if these severe pains can bee caused because of hydronephrosis?

Hello! Hydronephrosis actually means dilation or stretching of your renal pelvis. Cause of hydronephrosis is free flow obstruction of your urine in the kidney. I can tell you that pregnancy affects to your urine tract much and sometimes this affection can become pathological. I can tell you for sure that hydronephrosis is caused by your pregnancy and that everything will be fine after your birth.
